Dear Terry,
I stopped by to visit Dad today and was informed he had passed.
My deepest regrets to you and Family for his loss.

Jack was certainly bigger than life, never at a loss for words, always with a quip. Caring for him was beyond enjoyable, it was a pleasure indeed. Somehow he had a way of brightening my day, making me laugh, no matter the circumstances.

I will miss Jack immeasurably, but know he is in a better place.

Dear Glynn family, I just saw the news on your Dad, sorry to hear the news, I am so sorry .As I read I was reminded of how involved Jack was with my generations athletics as well as many others. I cant separate a little league season or a West Bridgewater tournament from your dads larger than life presence. Deepest sympathies and he will will be welcomed with open arms for all the time and sacrifice for the kids of Norwell.

I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He and Ann were always so welcoming to us meatheads growing up in Norwell. how they put up with us all EVERY weekend, I'll never know! Prospect was our home away from home.

Jack always showed great interest in each of us as individuals, supporting and encouraging us. I am forever grateful for his offer to make some calls on my behalf to get into West Point, something I regret not taking advantage of. Great man, great family.

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad. We often recall his bigger-than-life personality and his love of dancing with Ann at the North River House and other places. He will be remembered dancing with a smile.

There are a lot of hambones and meatballs in mourning this week. My oldest memory of 'Uncle Jack' is of him throwing batting practice to me, at age 9, at the baseball diamond at the Cole School that's now a parking lot. Your dad really made a meaningful contribution toward the development of Norwell youth sports. And who can forget all the social gatherings, cookouts, and parties at the old Prospect Street homestead. Both Jack and Ann were great stewards of us young people back then. Sincere...

What a great guy! He would meet me first thing in the morning as I arrived at NHS. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to share with me (many of those jokes were a little off color). Part of the reason I came to school early was to see him and to listen to his stories. I am proud to call him a friend. Miss you buddy!

I will have you in my prayers as you go through this. Jack had a good life and you certainly gave him the time of his life when you and Jimmy cared for him in your home. You know he and Jimmy are causing trouble up in Heaven together. Love, Janet
