Not sure what to say?

JOHN WAS A MEMBER OF MY PLATOON IN PARRIS ISLAND. NICE GUY. WELL LIKED. RIP, JOHN...

We were very close brothers for 3 months as members of Platoon 75 in early 1954, at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, NC.
I haven't seen John since leaving boot camp but as anyone who went through that experience knows, I'd just like to say...Semper FI Brother and Rest in Peace.

Barry Bates, Roseville Ca.

RIP John, we will always remember his visit to Puerto Rico with my mom Hilda, it was a great time even though the heat was getting the best of him. He was a wonderful person and he will not be forgotten. With love from the Carrero family

I was very sad to learn that John left us to join our father. I will always remember his visit to florida when he came down to join my mom. He was a very special man who I love very much. He will always be in my prayers.

JOHN WAS A MEMBER OF MY PLATOON (#75) AT PARRIS ISLAND IN 1954. I DID NOT GET TO KNOW HIM VERY WELL BUT HE WAS "ONE OF US" AND WELL DESERVING OF A SINCERE SYMPATHY WISH TO HIS FAMILY. SEMPER FI, JOHN....
