Goewey Family,
We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. We have many warm memories of his infectious laugh and wonderful stories. We will miss him.

"In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2

Blessings and Peace,
David and Martha Hawley

I have very fond memories growing up attending St. Francis Church with the Goewey family. He was a very kind family man, and a good friend to my father. I'm glad he is at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. He will be missed.

Mr. Goewey was always at our track meets, cheering us on and supporting the team. He had a wry sense of humor and a classiness that stood out. Since I've always lived in Holden, I've had the opportunity to stay in touch with him all these years, running into him at the local coffee shops and businesses. I'll miss seeing him around and chatting like we have so many times. To Mrs. Goewey, Mark, Paul, Todd, Josh, and Cara - my deepest condolences. He will be missed but never forgotten.

COL Josh Goewey and his family will remain in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time...may God hold you always but especially close during your time of grief. In friendship, Scott and Kathy Forman

Hon. Dennis J. Brennan extends his condolences to the entire Goewey family in this time of loss. John was a fine man and a true gentleman.

Almost any memory of WRHS track meets I have include Mr. Goewey standing at the finish line, cheering his boys on as well as the rest of the team. I am so sorry for your loss.
