I believe I spoke to Sandy several years ago while compiling the Goffus family tree and she was very helpful. Her father told her that his father Andrew came from Pottstown many years ago and that tied things together as far as the family story was told to me when I was a child. May God grant his servant John Blessed Repose and Memory Eternal. My sympathy to the family.
