Not sure what to say?

To the Goins Family,
I will always remember how touched and appreciative I was on the day the DC Alumni Club received John's generous gift of $500 for our Scholarship fund. His single gift upped the ante for us all and played a major role in our being able to make a $5,000 donation to the University in 2003.

Now, I'm particularly saddened that due to health concerns of my own, I'm just learing of, and therefore, missed the celebration of this quiet and generous...

To John's family and friends, I am truly sorry that official business kept me in Florida at this sad time. John was such a rare person; such a gentleman and always available to help a good and just cause. He will truly be missed but always remembered fondly.

Dear Goins Family:
Those dearest to us never really leave...they live on in the way they cared, shared and made us happy.
Your father, my "boyfriend", made me and others happy, and taught us a great deal, in many ways. His smile, his kind acts, and above all, his strong will always remain as great memories for me and others.
May knowing that others care help you through this troubled time. You are in our thoughts, hopes, and prayers.

Carlyn and the Craig...

My Dearest Geri,

Your Dad was one of the most genuinely nice people I've ever known. I believe he died the same way he lived - with courage and dignity. He will be missed forever, and my prayers are with you and your family.

Your father, grandfather and brother was a dear friend of my family, the Skinners. He lived a rich, full life and you surely will miss him and his wit. My wife and I extend our heartfelt sympathy for your loss.
