John was a great man and we shared many years as neighbors on Raccoon Island. When he returned back to the Island over the last few years it was great to see him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy Jane,Kevin and the family at this time.

I went to Hartwick College with John and Colleen and first met John because he lived across the street from my grandmother in Somerville. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with the family.

I knew John as neighbor and attorney. We met when I received a referral to him as I moved into our neighborhood, only to find he lived just a few houses away. He became a true confidant who assisted me with several issues over the years, always with that wonderful smile and gregarious outgoing manner. We never spoke when he didn't bring me up to date on his children's progress, his wife, church and the lake, all such important parts of his life. I will miss his smiling face, his endearing...

Many good wishes and condolences to John's family at this time. We sang together in chorus and I have many fond memories of John from those days.
