Sorry ti hear about johnny. I always enjoyed his tales during muffin hour when i was visiting.

I so saddened when I read of Johnny's passing. He was the sweetest person to me & all who knew him. I didn't see the notice until yesterday morning. Lost another good trailrider. Rest in peace Johnny. My love to Betty, Linda & Jeannie

My family and I had the honor of knowing Johnny for most of my life. When I was a little girl I had a large crush on him and still do to this day. I had the great honor to work with him at KGBT and thru the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show. His smile will remain with me forever. He's in Heaven with my daddy, Ed Cooper and my beautiful Step mom, Frances Cooper.The hooks are baited and the deer blinds are ready. God Bless you Johnny.

We use to have a blast with Johnny on the Tip-O-Tex trail rides. I know he will be missed. Our condolenced to his family.

Great memories working with Johnny when I sang on Table Talk, and Jim had a radio show on KELT.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have great memories both from his days with KGBT and the opportunity to know him personally. There will never be another voice like his. Cherish him in your memories, as I will.

As a kid growing up in the Valley during the 60's, Johnny Goodman was a giant of a man. He was "Mr. Channel 4" and I was lucky enough to know & work with him in the late 70's & 80's. What a wonderful man... always kind and respectful not only to me, but to everyone he met. One last TV moment, Johnny--- "stand by... you're on!" Rest in God's peace.
