To John's family; Although never meeting you I was blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting and conversing with this wonderful man. Conversation was easy, comfortable and with a healthy dose of good natured humor. My condolences to all of you from Pete of Block Island.

Mary Ann, I am so sorry. John was such a good man and he always worried about you and tried to make sure you were ok. I will miss him a great deal, even though I have only known you both a short time, he made quite an impression on me that I will never forget.Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.
