Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Nick's family! Nick hired me in 1972 in Dallas, then I worked for him in 1989 in San Diego. He was a great boss and friend! I enjoyed visiting with Nick and Sandy during the later years. I talked with him last year and was doing fine. He will be missed!

My deepest condolences for the loss of one of my most favorite Motorolans. I fell in love with Nick on my very first day at Motorola! I was the brand new Order Editing Department Clerk who jammed up the huge complicated copy machine, and Nick rescued me from the embarrassment of not knowing how to fix it. He stepped right in and showed me how, and was so patient and kind to me that I have never ever forgotten what a sweet kind man he was. He treated everyone like they were a VIP, no matter...

Nick hired me for my first real job - right out of college in 1974. I couldn´t have had a better Foret boss and mentor. He was a solid manager - I knew what he expected and recognized that I would be held to his expectations. But he also was a leader who inspired those who worked for him to take risks - not recklessly but in a calculated and responsible way. Any minor failures along the way were investments in experience and knowledge. Bob Galvin said "a man´s reach should exceed his...

Nick was not only the best manager I ever had, he was a true mentor and a friend. Wish I would have reached out more in the last couple of years. My heart goes out to Sandy and Nick's family.

My friend Zig Ziglar from church was always "better than good" and that was Nick as he always went the extra mile for everybody and everything he did. He leaves a great legacy at Motorola and life. Will miss him.

Sorry for your loss. Nick was such a special man. He agreed to take me on as a new college hire from Wisconsin at Motorola. He was a great teacher and coach. And a valued friend.

Dear Family of Nick Gorham, I want to express my deepest sympathy and condolences at the loss of Nick! He was an experienced engineer, manager and Mentor. In working with him on many projects, along with my other wonderful managers at Motorola, I learned many great lessons and most of all, his strong sense of ethical treatment of customers while providing them with the best system solutions possible. He will definitely be missed at our Retiree Luncheon Meetings at Luby's. Blessings to all...

Nick was a great Boss and mentor. He gave me a great opportunity with Motorola that I will always be grateful for. May the LORD comfort you all in this time.

Prayers for the family. As a new engineer in '81 Nick taught me a lot and when I went over to work as a sales specialist in the State & Local Government Markets we worked on just about all the big projects together. He was a great friend and mentor.
