John E. Gottschalk

I'll always admire John for donating to a sculpture project at the John Neihardt Center. He had many bigger projects on his plate, but was willing to consider how such a project could help a small town. His legacy will live on in the many projects he made happen. Restoring the baseball field in his hometown of Rushville was among many.

i worked at the OWH for many years and have fond memories of conversations with Mr. G. He even spoke to my husbands 6th grade class. Mike and Marsha Polak

I worked with John at OWH for many years. He always had a smile. My prayers are for John and his family. I will remember him always as a guiding force in my career path.
