Not sure what to say?

I feel blessed that John was my friend. He was a wonderful person. I will miss ta.llking to him. My sympathies to his loved ones.

I am so sad to have found Mr. Graf too late to say Thank You. He was my 8th grade teacher at Gale and he changed my life. As others have said he was tough but fair. I had been going nowhere in 7th grade but he saw my potential and gave me extra work and had high expectations. He got me to apply to Lane, where he had gone, and it changed my life. Thank you Mr. Graf. May you rest in peace knowing all the good that you did in this world for your students.

Sue and Family, So sorry to hear about the passing of you dad. Even though he had such a wonderful long life, it is still hard to lose a parent I know he will be missed by you and you family, as well as so many others who knew him. Sincere Condolences,

Mr. Graf was a teacher everyone loved and was a friend to all. He was a teacher who taught values and demanded respect from everyone. Rest in peace Mr Graf, and thank you for everything you did for all your students. Jamie Faklis Schremser Class of 1967

Mr. Graf was simply a Nice Guy! As a dear friend of my parents I always will remember John as one of the Pillars of St Ignatius Parish, as was his bride Lu. Always with a smile and a warm greeting. Rest easy Mr. Graf & say Hi to my folks when you see them.

As a student of his at Gale school, Mr Graf sure made a lasting impact. He was tough and fair. Gale class of `69. Thank you Mr Graf for all you did!

Great teacher at Gale School. Talked to us about the 5/5/55 as we sat in class.

Mr. Graf was my 8th grade teacher at Gale School Class of 68´. Due to his teaching style I learned. I understand economics from Mr. Grafs simplistic explanation that I still use to explain how economics work and this contributed to my being a successful entrepreneur. May his memory be a blessing.

I remember Mr Graf from Gale elementary in the 1950´s. He was a nice man and good teacher. He and Henry Moughamian were the only two male teachers at Gale at that time RIP
