Not sure what to say?

Dear Bud and Betty,
Words cannot convey my sadness when I heard that John had passed.
It seems like yesterday that we were enjoying high School together, especially on the baseball field where John loved to be.
I beleive that in our next meeting he will be over at first base, giving me words of encouragement as I try to get out of a bases load jam.
I only wish I had stayed closer in touch with John over the years. O how they fly by.
Much love to you, Bud and Betty, and thank you...

Dear Betty and Bud,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your son. Even though we didn't know your children, Bettie and Bob were good friends of yours since childhood. Bettie lives with us now that Bob has passed. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
Bettie, Linda and Richard Slawson

Dear Grainger Family: I was so very sad to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful, intelligent man, and I have such great memories of the classes we shared at Amphi. He will truly be missed but most fondly remembered. Love, Lee Ann Lindbeck, Class of '69.

Our condolences to the Grainger family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Don (1976 UA Baseball team) & Linda Zimmerman

Dear Bud and Betty, I'm so sorry to hear of John's death. Knowing how close you all were makes it especially tough. My prayers are that you find a moment of peace to spend together remembering all the good times you have shared. John was my friend and I will always remember our time together in California playing baseball with you as our coach and mentor. So many football games, basketball practices and baseball clinics that John was so much a part of. John knew he was loved, I wish we...

My sincere sympathies to your parents and family for the most untimely loss of John C. Grainger from an old THS colleague. May John Rest In Peace.
David W. Turnbull, Jr. THS'42

Dear Bud and Betty,
Please accept my hearfelt sympathy for your loss. John was a great person and a good friend to me. My failing was not to stay in touch with him. Life shows us over and over how vulnerable we all are. No words can offset you sorrow, but please know my thoughts are with you. Dennis
