Not sure what to say?

Just learned of the passing of this special man. 54 years ago he taught a confirmation class at Bethany Lutheran which I was lucky enough to share. I didn´t realize then what the ultimate gift of Christ was. I was also blessed to become friends with his son Steven which was also a gift through high school. I hope he was greeted in Heaven by all those he touched. Thank you Paster Graudin Tim McKissick

My condolences to you and your family. I saw the link to your fathers obit on the Groveton Alum fb site. I did not know him personally, but know he had to be quite the guy to raise a great guy like yourself. Peace to all and Godspeed on your days ahead.

The entire Graudin family are awesome people which speaks volumes about the Pastor. I´ll always remember attending vacation Bible school with Kevin and Steven. Those are great memories. Although we were members at Mt Vernon UMC, my family always attended the Easter Sunrise Service at Mt Comfort Cemetery.

In 1968, our family moved from Michigan to Alexandria, VA. We found a wonderful Lutheran Church, Bethany, and the Pastor was John Graudin. What a blessing to find such a loving and caring congregation. We became close friends with the Graudin Family, and miss all of them. Our blessings to the Graudin Family.

Saddened to hear of Uncle John's passing. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. My condolences to you and your family.

Beautiful in Blue

We met John and Earlene while walking in Carolina Bay. We immediately became friends. They introduced us to other couples that also became close friends. One evening John and Earline shared their travel pictures with us and gave us a travel catalogue. We have since traveled the world stepping on 6 continents and two dozen countries which is something we would not have done without them. Meeting John and Earlene was a life changing event for us. For that, we are truly grateful.
