As I pulled up to the pumps Saturday morning, I expected to see John with his big smile, as I had seen for several years. Instead I got the very sad news about his passing. I considered John a friend. I'm still in shock. My condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers.

I'm going to miss seeing John standing outside Bob Lee's--so pleasant and friendly. He was always so great to me, as he was to all his customers, who became his friends. He will be missed.

Check the oil, is the coolant ok, what about the battery .... typical of a customer. I'm happy we talked about more things than servicing an engine. The one thing I'm very unhappy about is saying good-bye. How would we have known it was your time. It could be any one's time tomorrow or the next. We always liked to see you when you were at Bob Lee's so we could say hi, not just talk engines. Maybe now you can get that CWP you always wanted, not that you'll need it, who knows.
