Our trip to Alaska to spend some wonderful family time with Uncle Johnny and Aunt Dolly will always be cherished. The time they flew us to the cabin, fishing for salmon and canning it in their cabin. The day we saw the Bear outside the window in the morning, the "out house" no running water or electricity. It was a wonderful experience, wish as a family we could of had a lot more of them. They will both be missed greatly by the Krebs family. Hope all of us cousins can get together some...

To the wonderful family of John and Dolly, There aren't any words that I can use to express the sadness in our hearts for the loss of two wonderful people. Our hearts have a big empty space now that John and Dolly are gone. They will be in our hearts and lives from now on. We love you all and we are so sorry. Darrell and Loydale

Dear Jay, Teri, Cori. Lori and Meri, We were so sorry and shocked, to hear about your Mom and Dad. We have known them since our teens. I knew your Dad at Ann Arbor High school. We also knew him growing up in Ann Arbor. We met you Mom before they were married and have enjoyed their friendship ever since.. We were at their house in Alaska in 2000. They were at our home in Whitmore Lake last summer, and we talked about all of our good memories and good times we enjoyed with each other. They...

The world has truly lost 2 wonderful people. I met John and Dolly and we became instant friends. A true frontiersman. You will both be missed.

Sorry to hear about your Mom and Dad. My prayers to you and yours. God Bless.

To the family of Johnny and Dolly,
We are friends (and in-laws) of John and Ellen Bath and enjoy swapping stories about life in Alaska. The stories of the cabin and beach combing flights centered around their dear friends Johnny and Dolly. What a wonderful way to spend a life. We who call Alaska home should get out and enjoy all that our great state has to offer. Our condolences on lives cut short but truly lived.

Hi, I'm Gary, Marge & Ray Peterson's son. I left a comment on ADN's article but I just wanted to tell you for my parents and myself that the loss of both parents is horrible and I feel for your family. Mom and Dad died 6weeks apart and it's pretty hard to take.....Gary PS: my brother Bob across the street on Barbara passed 9 yrs ago, so he can't wish you the best in this message.
