Today is my father's 71st birthday. He has taught me many things. But most importantly, to be myself. Have fun and make other people laugh regardless of what other people think. Say hi to strangers in line, strike up a conversation be outgoing put a smile on their face. There wasn't a place you could go without my father knowing someone there.
But, today was a hard day dad... It was hard to keep a smile today. It was hard to celebrate. You have taught me to be the person that I am...

I can't believe it has been 4 months since we sat with you as you took your last breaths. We miss you so much. The kids talk about you everyday. Some days they remember funny stories like how excited you were to help them get the batteries into their new toys so that you could test it out as well. They remember how strong your hands were. They still try to hit the kitchen table with their fingers to make it sound as strong as grandpa. Others days they sit quietly and cry because they miss you...

To my Deeply Missed Father,
It is still very hard to put into words of how the loss of you has hurt my heart so. Has I write this to let everyone know, I have tears coming down my cheers. Time has not help me heal my sorrow for you, I find myself wondering down memory lane so often or to listen to someone talk about you it is very hard to keep myself together. To all of you, I am his daughter Tammy, but to my Dad, I was his puppet or little girl, my daughter and my son talk about...

I would like to add a few things that were left out of John's obituary. First and most importantly, John died surrounded by loved ones. Also besides his breakfasts at Sunset Diner and his trips to Dunkin Donuts, he loved traveling, especially in the Chevy van with the grandkids to Florida and Texas, country music and country dancing, old car shows and riding segways in Florida.
I would also like to thank everyone for their thoughts and remembrances of John. They are all deeply...

I met John in 1963 and we became good friends. We also worked together at the Liberty Theater in Plainfield, NJ. I will never forget all of John's famous "dance moves" at all the dances we attended when we were growing up. My thoughts are with his wife Clare and his family.
John, I will never forget you and hope you Rest In Peace.
Your friend,
Ron Stocker
