Our family provided day care for Steven and Nicole for many years. John was a great dad and a funny guy. We are all shocker.
All of our love goes out to you, Nic and Steven.

I grew up with John...our families have always been close. John was always a nice guy and driven. My sympathy to Mr and Mrs Gregory and to Debra and Yvonne...to John's children and to all the family. Peace be with you all in this difficult time. I am so very sorry.

My sincere sympathies to the Gregory Family. Please take comfort in knowing that God promises to swallow up death forever and wipe away tears from All faces.

I have known John for almost 30 years (Bob's wife). The cradle he made when Nicole was born was passed down to us. John was always outgoing and exuberant. My deepest sympathies to his parents, who should not have to say goodbye to child, and to his sisters, and especially his children, Nicole & Stephen.

John was a very kind, gentle, and caring man. John and I worked together at Yahoo! and remained in touch after we both went in new directions. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his parents, sisters and children.

John was one of the founders of my first technology startup, Prescient Software, and was volunteering a lot of time at my most recent start-up, SoundFit. He was always enthusiastic, upbeat, quick with a wise-crack. hearty laughter and with his Summit Bound inspiration. I am privileged to have worked with him. He will be missed.

John hired me at A9. He was a very astute people manager, with a strong instinct for good hires, very bright, and most of all, kind and understanding. This is pretty shocking.
He loved his children and was so happy to spend time with them.
He was a positive person and always gave everyone a fair hearing. I cannot imagine this kind man is no more.

Sad to hear this. He was my manager in Amazon and is one of the coolest and best managers I have seen. RIP.
