Not sure what to say?

Dear Jane,
Likely you will not remember me. But I recall dinner at your home, something John did for his students. This would have been 6th grade for me so ~1974 in Columbus. I don't recall the meal or details other than the welcome-ness and comfort of it all . And some mystery- being of the age of watching relationships and impression- what a great one you shared, whole hearted love would be the word I would use - I think you had your first child maybe? In fallible, committed and...

Jane I don't know if you recall who I am--Paulette from the clinic in OC. God uses "coincidences" allowing us to bring closure between brothers and sisters before calling them home. We were watching the news and caught a glimpse of the"famous" golfer--did not see his caddy--nor could I recall his last name. Of course I googled it-read the reason for his absence. Though many seasons have past between us--the sweet memories of you and Bear remain sharp in my mind. God uses even our most...

The Spathiphyllum Plant

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the Greller family for the loss of such a pillar of faith in John "Bear' Greller. We will forever remember Bear and Janeo for their genuine love for people. They walked and talked Christ. They opened their home and exemplified Christ's love to many. Thanks for being a champion of faith and inspiration for our family. We miss you dearly Bear.

I have so many great memories of Mr.Greller as I called him. He was my 6th grade teacher at Robinson elementary. I don't know if he ever knew just how much he was loved by so many he taught there. The thing that I remember most was he read the chronicles of Narnia to our class. And he invited us all to his home with his wife for dinner with a unique menu lol. And Mr.Baxter the boa constrictor that shared our class room . I would have loved to have found him and his wife years ago I did...

"The Bear" was such a warm and delightful friend, a welcoming fraternity brother, and a fine influence on all of us who knew him. It was a treat to see him at reunions with Jane over the years, and always a disappointment that I was not able to see more of him. What a loss to all of us.

Loving Light Dishgarden

Jane and family we are so saddened by Johns death and for the loss of your wonderful husband. Father and grandfather.
It was an honor to know him and have him be the recipient of Jodis organs. He was truly a Christian example for us all and we know Jodi has been watching over him for the past 18 years. They are now united in Gods care.
Peace and Love to you all from Mike, Darlene, Jeff, Martha, Claudia and Audrey VanBendegom

Jane, My sympathies to you and your family. I will never forget bear and my husband Glenn getting off the boat from their fishing trip in the boundary waters. Glenn adored that trip ! You two were such a light in our CC experience. Glenn died in 1998 while hiking in Guatemala. So sorry to hear of your great loss! With love, Barb VanNoord
