Mr. John H. Grier affectionately known as "Henry" by his family and "Tote The Note" by his friends departed his earthly life peacefully on Saturday April 19th, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital Hospice Care. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday April 24th at H. O. Graham Metropolitan Presbyterian Church: 2926 Old Steele Creek Rd. Charlotte, NC 28208. The family will receive friends from 12pm-1pm Thursday. Family & friends are invited to sign the online registry at www.alexanderfunerals.com.

I can definitely understand what the family is going through due to the fact I just lost my Dad and the man of my family as well. Time will heal us all. I pray God comforts your family and Henry know that you will always have a friend to call on who understands first hand. Be blessed and comforted my brother.
Lauren and Mrs Grier I'm sure Henry L. Grier will have tough shoes to fill, but I know he will give it his all.
