I will never forget Dr. Griffin. I started seeing him in 1973 when I was 8. At the time I wondered why my parents thought I needed help. At age 56 looking back it's easy to see now what I could not see then. I can still see that black hair and glasses that he had. I can still hear his voice asking me what I would like to do today. The wiffle ball games we played outside are something I'll always remember fondly (:

I will never forget Dr. Griffin. I was a patient of his in the 1970's as a child and teenager, at Emory. He was always so soft spoken and kind. And I got to leave school early a few times a month for my appointments my mom would take me to. RIP John B Griffin

Dr. Griffin was a blessing in my life and my son's life at times when things seemed absolutely impossible. He knew exactly what my son needed and became a lifeline for us both. Over the years, I continued to thank God for Dr. Griffin, his love for children and the miraculous way God used him in our lives. My son is a wonderful young man who is hugely successful in life. I am saddened to hear of Dr. Grffins passing. I was a patient of his from 1973-1982 at Emory University. A very kind man, and someone I trusted telling anything to.
