Not sure what to say?

Words cannot always express the loss of a teacher who was so inspirational to many who attended school at Russell High. Was very sorry to hear of your great loss. What a privilege I had to to have seen him at our 45th RHS Class Reunion.

I was sad to hear of Mr. Grindle's passing. He was my shorthand teacher at Russell High and I worked in the counselor's office for him in 1959-62. He was my favorite teacher. All his students benefited from time spent in any class he taught.

It was such a pleasure to see and visit with John at our last Russell union. My deepest sympathy to the Grindle family. John Grindle was a giant in his chosen profession.

I really enjoyed being with John and Peggy at our reunion. My condolances to the family.

With our deepest sympathies. John was a wonderful person.

Peggy and Family,
I am so deeply saddened by the loss of my very favorite high school teacher. He had a great influence on my life as a teacher, and even in recent days, was such a blessing as he encouraged me in the poetry ministry. What a fine Christian man and friend! My prayers are certainly with you and the family at this difficult time.

I know this a sad day for the Grindle family. John was such a great teacher and friend to many of us at Russell High and the many parents and students throughout Fulton County. Our prayers are with all the Grindle family.

My deepest sympathy to your family in this time of great sorrow. Mr. Grindle was one of my favorites and I was delighted to see him at our 45th reunion last year.

I offer my sincere sympathy during this time of sorrow.
