Our family remembers the good care at his dentist practice. I remember the highlight magazines and angel stories in the waiting areas.

Je viens d’apprendre avec beaucoup de tristesse le décès du Dr JOHN GRIPPO. Il m’a énormément aidé dans mes recherches sur les lésions dentaires non carieuses. Il était vécu jusqu’à Dakar au Sénégal assisté à mes thèse sur ce sujet qu’il avait inspiré et dirigé. J’ai passé la nuit chez lui à Longmeadow après le congrès de Boston de 2004.
A son épouse Connie et à toute sa famille je présente mes sincères condoléances

Dr. Grippo used to work on my teeth as a kid in the late 70s. I still have all of them and they are in excellent shape. Much appreciated. Mike Ellis. Connecticut.

Hello John, Steve & Family
I Just heard yesterday of Dr Grippo's passing my wife and I are so saddened. John and I befriended each other at the JCC And would talk and catch up from Lancers football, Dental products to our lives today. He had an incredible memory. He drove to my house in town to deliver his POH No Wax dental floss that he had so much passion for. He was so generous, gentle to talk to reminded me of my Dad. The greatest generation.

Dr. Grippo. You were the ultimate friend and father to me . You opened wide your house to me and my family. You trusted me to go everywhere inside and around your house. In the past, you took me around Longmeadow, and we both worked to help people who couldn't take care of their front/back yards. You taught me a lot, and you loved me and gave me all sort of advices. I was your African friend and "son" and I loved you too. What an exceptional gentleman you were! I will miss you so much.

Rest In Peace Dr Grippo - Steve you had a sweet dad who was so kind. Loved him as my dentist . When I moved to Boston I still came back to Longmeadow for my annual visits with him. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time and sending prayers and hugs .
