Not sure what to say?

I cut John's hair for many years. I was always glad to see his name on the appointment book. We shared a lot of common interests, and enjoyed our time together while I was cutting his hair. I will miss not seeing him. I know how hard it is for his family however, we have to move on and support each other. The hardest question is "why" and the one answer is, " we don't know" It is a question that will never be answered. Love him for who he was, and know he did what he wanted to do. Dennis

I didn't get to see Johnny often but the time I was fortunate enough to spend with him will always be a treasure to me. Those good times in the Keys, on the river, or just hanging out are among my best memories and I consider myself lucky to have them. Johnny you will forever be loved and missed... All my love to Betty,JD,Linda and Scott

I can still remember all of the fun times we had growing up together, hanging out and enjoying all life had to give. Johnny was a great person to be around. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Johnny will always have a special place in my heart and will be greatly missed. Even thou Johnny never had any children of his own, he was like a father to my two children, James and Karen Russ. He was always there to be a friend, give guidance and direction when needed. He was full of life and so positive with a smile of his face. I know he loved our family and we will love him forever.

I have known Johnny for quite some time. He saw my friends and I grow up through the years. We first knew him as "the ice cream man", neighbor and then friend. I don't think there was a day during the Shadow Bay summers that we didnt knock on his door and bug him for some ice cream. We were always greeted with a "whats up" and a smile. He was there while we were all in high school and was always encouraging and urged us to be all we could be. He has a very special place in my heart and will...

Johnny and I shared so many good times and only a couple of months ago we took a long boat ride along the coast and shared old times. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him. I am deeply saddened by his death and a at loss for words. He was so full of life and took such joy in simple things that I often found myself envious. He was much loved !

JD, Betty, Linda and family:
My deepest sympathies for "our" loss. Johnny touched my life in many ways, but mostly he taught me to enjoy life and to always see the bright side. I have many memories which I thank god for blessing me with - One of his greatest gifts to me was sharing his love of the outdoors - the St.Johns, the keys, Crystal River and his boat.
He will never be forgotten and I am blessed to have been a part of his life.

Johnny - You are missed. What a beautiful person you were. I wish you knew how many smiles you provide me. I am so thankful to have been brought into your family through Linda. I have such wonderful memories about my friend's charming big brother. Miss you so much. Joy

Johnny,
If you only had realized how much you were loved, by so many. I will miss you. You were like a brother.
To all the family - my heart goes out to you. Be happy in knowing that Johnny always brought a smile to the face of those he was around.
All my love,
Margo
