Not sure what to say?

Dear Brenna, Michael & Justin,

We are all so sad to hear of John's passing. He was a most wonderful gentleman, great neighbor, and a lovely human being. He took such great joy and pleasure in being your husband, Brenna! And when the boys made their appearances, he was such a proud daddy (or would it be more correct to say, "Dad-O?")!

The years have passed since you all lived in Anchorage, but each of you are remembered with such fond memories. Wish we could come...

John and I went through school and graduated together from Duncanville. I was shocked and sadden to hear the news of his passing, but,I know he is at peace and in a better place now.

Your memories of our friendship of us growing up together will always be with me. I know you are in a better place looking over all of us. So long Brother John.

John and I worked together in ARCO Alaska in the late 90's. He was one of the brightest guys I knew and truly a pleasure to work with. After the Phillips purchase, I wound up in the UK and he went to HQ. We used to compare notes over the phone on what it was like to work for a new company after so many years with ARCO. I am saddened to hear of his passing, but grateful that I got to know him.

I had the pleasure of working with John at ConocoPhillips. My heartfelt sympathies to you and your children.

So sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you at this time.

SueAnn and John Standley

Thanks for all you did when working with us here in Trinidad. You are a real gentlemen.

Rest in peace.

Rest in peace my friend. I will miss you.

I have fond memories of John. I went to school with him, and he was my fifth grade boyfriend. Well, I don't know if he knew he was my boyfriend or not! One of my girlfriends said he wanted to go steady with me, but I don't know if she was making that up.

John will be missed.
