John Lee Grush Jr

I have been friends with Lee since 1951, when my family lived directly behind his on Le Bar Road. His family moved to Kenner and mine to River Ridge. We hung out a lot together as kids and have stayed in contact over the years. When we talked, he would brag on his brothers, kids, and grandkids. I am sorry for your loss. And mine. Mike Lincoln

I want to express my sincere condolences on Lee's death. I met Lee here at Morrison Insurance over 25 years ago. He was always kind and a good person in this tough insurance business. We always had good conversations on business. He told me stories about his Dad in the war and shared other personal friend to friend stories. He was a good man. Lee was one of 16 first cousins from the Grush family. He would seldom call me to meet for lunch because we both worked in Metairie. We always had the best conversations. He was so outgoing and easy to talk to. When I was gathering items for genealogy research, because he lived in the family home, he was very helpful in gathering items for me to include.
