May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I did not get to meet you, but you are my father's brother, and therefore my uncle. It sounds like you were a good person, liked by many. Rest in peace.

Dave, Mike and Patty we are sorry for the loss of your Father. He was a good man and a loving father. Your cousins, Mick, Jim and Tony.

thoughts and prayers to the Gruver family RIP John

Dear Gruver Family,
John Gruver was a great man! I got to know him at Phi Gamma Delta where we worked together as commissar and chef 50 years ago. He was great at his job and really cared about us. I learned a great deal about managing both people and supplies from John. All of us Fijis remember him fondly and will miss him. Please accept my sincere condolences.

So sorry for the passing of "Gruver". He was a legend as our chef at FIJI. He will always be missed and loved! May God Bless. David Bettencourt '95.

Very sorry for your family’s loss of this good father and Grand father. I am one of many that enjoyed your dad while attending Lafayette College. We always respected and appreciated his friendship and cooking skills. Your dad, and all your family are in my prayers. God bless.
