I am not a close friend or family member and so from respect did not attend the funeral which I understand was for those people only.I can only say that having met Mr Guest on a few occasions I feel deeply for the loss. I know from conversations that he loved his wife and family very much and also that he was one of those genuine people that you only meet occasionally who have true character. There was something very noble about him.....something that drew you to him and made you admire...

Our lasting memory of John was at Ascot when he was enormously enjoying the company of close family, friends and the medical team he was recently involved with. It then came as a great shock to read of his sad death. He has left a wonderful family and to you all we wish you our deepest sympathies at this very sad time.
