On December 25, 2023, it will be 3 years since you left us to go to your Heavenly Home. I look at your picture every day and think of you always. I know that the Lord has blessed you beyond anything you could have ever imagined and you have paid it forward every day of your life. Thank you for all you have done for your friends and loved ones. I miss you terribly and really miss sending you your yearly cards telling you how proud I was of you for nearly 18 years of sobriety. I love you...

John was one of my favorite customers I have ever encountered in my career.... he was a genuine person, no falsehoods.... he was intelligent, caring and had true depth. I will miss him greatly and am grateful I was able to call him a friend.

Met John in Seneca about five years ago, always glad to run into him. Whenever we talked was bound to be some laughter. I liked him, Then I moved to Greenville and who’s following me around but John. He was looking for a condo for the Mrs. We had thought of going to baseball games this past spring but Covid had other ideas. I’ll miss John, he was funny, easy-going and comfortable in his own skin.

It has been many years since I worked with/for Mr. Guffey. I will always remember his kindness, and the down to earth guy he was.
