Not sure what to say?

I am John's baby sister -- in fact his favorite sister as he wrote to me on his Graduation photo -- because, I am his only sister and I still have the Charm Bracelet he gave me for my High School Graduation in 1962. He had a very bright sense of humor and such a good heart. He was a very generous man. John was a very bright man and while working full time, he attended Youngstown State University - Ohio - and went to night school for 7 years. He earned his degree in Metallurgy, Industrial...

On December 25, 2023, it will be 3 years since you left us to go to your Heavenly Home. I look at your picture every day and think of you always. I know that the Lord has blessed you beyond anything you could have ever imagined and you have paid it forward every day of your life. Thank you for all you have done for your friends and loved ones. I miss you terribly and really miss sending you your yearly cards telling you how proud I was of you for nearly 18 years of sobriety. I love you...

You prayed to your grandmother for all those years, stating I can’t imagine her anywhere else but in Heaven

Well sir.....

Right back atcha
You changed the very shape of my sobriety
You had no idea you were doing it
Yet that is the point of the whole thing is it not?
I miss you John
You’re here with me now
As much if not more
I’m testament to your reach
Sleep well old timer
May your laugh and your wisdom never perish

John was one of my favorite customers I have ever encountered in my career.... he was a genuine person, no falsehoods.... he was intelligent, caring and had true depth. I will miss him greatly and am grateful I was able to call him a friend.

Uncle John came into our family’s life a quarter century ago. My Aunt Mo married a fine man. And he has blessed our family in many ways. Personally he was a business mentor to me. He was a life mentor. He was a mentor to my sons and husband. He was always generous on many levels. I trusted his wisdom wholeheartedly. I was so fortunate to have time recently with him in June of this year with Aunt Mo and my son Hunter as we traveled across country to setup my son in his first apartment after...

Met John in Seneca about five years ago, always glad to run into him. Whenever we talked was bound to be some laughter. I liked him, Then I moved to Greenville and who’s following me around but John. He was looking for a condo for the Mrs. We had thought of going to baseball games this past spring but Covid had other ideas. I’ll miss John, he was funny, easy-going and comfortable in his own skin.

May your heart soon be filled with wonderful memories of lost loved one. Please except my deepest sympathies to you and your family at this time of grieving. May God be with you and your family in this time of sorrow.

It has been many years since I worked with/for Mr. Guffey. I will always remember his kindness, and the down to earth guy he was.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, and to Monique.
May God bless you and your family.
