No words could capture what a great man John was. He was dedicated to his family and was an inspiration to others.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My condolences to John's beloved family. The words used to describe John show the exceptional man/person he was. What I find extraordinary is that when he approached me at Hope High school 51(!) years ago he exhibited all those qualities even as a teenager. He came to my defense one day(On a daily basis I was being bullied and harassed by many of the students)and introduced himself to me. He was protecting others all those years ago. I have never forgotten the three people who cam to my aid....
