Not sure what to say?

John and I stayed in touch after our years together at Javanet/RCN. He would always send detailed emails to me about his computer questions and problems. We would work together to solve them. He treated everyone with respect and kindness. I am sad to hear of his passing. John, you will be missed!

I was an early childhood friend of John's growing up just two blocks away on Sumner Ave. We were in the same grades and same schools all the way from Sumner Ave elementary through Classical. We spent a fair amount of time together over those years. John was a very intelligent and kind albeit with a sometimes different (from the mainstream) and often healthy perspective on things - he was always on the side of the underdog and the less privileged. As many have remarked, he had an early...

Sorry to hear of John's passing. We were neighbors on Washington Rd. & classmates at Classical. Haven't seen him in person for many years but re-connected on fb some years back. My condolences to John's family & friends. Carry on wherever you are out in the cosmos, my friend.

John was like the cherry, brainy uncle of the RCN call center when it was operating. Always happy to see you, sharing his love of the group Fireside theater. After RCN operations ended in Springfield a bunch of us stayed in touch, but John was the most connected to me personally aside from a very very few. He genuinely gave a damn, always, and I don´t think most people ever gave him credit for stepping up. RIP John, and thanks for being part of our journeys.

I remember John from Classical. He was always nice and would talk about music with such enthusiasm. I was sorry to hear he had died.

I knew John from High School and always liked him. He was not your ordinary guy but a good guy who just needed a little understanding.

John, you left way too soon......so much to chat and discuss....Thank you for the times of meeting up at Barnes and Noble in Holyoke....croissants and coffee while discussing some serious issues. Thank you for your friendship, John. Oh, the musicians you´re going to meet up there....I can see you smiling. RIP, my friend.

Later, John. Honor to have know you- image is from the Forest Park days.

Sarah and Marc, I remember John from our days at Forest Park Jr High. Please accept my condolences. May John´s memory be a blessing for all who knew and loved him! Patty Mindel Scheer
