Not sure what to say?

Gerry and Family,
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. I'm sorry to have missed the Funeral Mass. I was in California visiting with Joe, Ann and Jim. We remembered and shared many good and funny stories. All of us wished we could have been there with you. "Big Johnny" was a wonderful, good and gentle man. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

Uncle Johnny on Thanksgiving

Geri and Family,
Sorry to hear about 'Big Johnny', my family sends this note with prayers for him and all of you.
He will be remembered for his warm and gentle smile. Many fond memories from playing cards to Coca Cola. God Bless all of you at this time.

Dear family,
I am sorry to hear about 'Uncle Johnny', I always thought of him as the funniest, kind hearted man. His laugh and smile always gave a bit of peace to the room. I was recently thinking of him while re-reading some old war letters of my father's in some attic box. They were so worried about burdening their mother with unnecessary grief.
I hope we all remember his good humour, I know I will.
David Gutbrod son of Bill Gutbrod

Aunt Jerry and family,
My thoughts are with you over Uncle Johnnie's passing.I will always remember talking about his childhood over the X-mas holidays!
