I am in total shock! I was searching on Facebook for friends I was in the Coast Guard with when I came upon Johns obituary. My condolences to his family and friends. Even though I haven't seen John in 40 years I feel a great sense of loss. We had some good times in Coast Guard training and at our duty station together for almost 4 years. Guzik became a good friend to our whole family, and will be dearly missed on Greenwich Road!

I was so saddened to hear that John had passed away, I had worked with him for many years at the VA and he was such a caring, kind individual. He had helped many Veterans along the way and will be sorely missed. My Prayers go out to MEG and the rest of his FAMILY.
