Not sure what to say?

I will always remember John as one of the kindest & most sincere people I ever met.

My deepest sympathies to Terry and the entire family. John was one of the finest people I had the privilege to know. He was a kind, gentle and generous man filled with love for family , community and the larger worked around him. His quick wit and sense of humor put people at ease and gave him an instant likeability. Thanks Terry and John for hosting my retirement ( firing) party many years ago. It gave me a boost at the right time. RIP John. You will be missed.

I am heartsick that I am not able to attend services for John . He was such and kind, thoughtful and loving person. I will never forget him and his kindness, my deepest love and condolences to the entire family. I love you all. John left a legacy of love. I just this minute found out about his passing. There are no words to convey my feelings.

Met John more than 30 years ago through City of Philadelphia social services. My dealings with John were meaningful and always respectful. He was a mentor to me and and always had a friendly smile. He was a consumat professional and a wonderful person who always gave the best of himself to others. God bless.

The best guy! Husband, father brother-in-law

Terry and family, I am so sorry for you all. John was the a man who deeply loved his family, his work, and community. It is a great loss for all.

Party on John!!! Your smile, and warmth and joy and love in your heart and eyes and being naturally and always exuded from you! May the party continue up there as we will down there. What a blessing of memory to leave us with!

John always had a twinkle in his eye that put a smile on my face. The thought of him brings that smile back. Richard (Dick to some) Jennings
