Not sure what to say?

Will say prayers for him in church on Sunday. May John rest in peace.

Wow,
Hard to believe John Haas is gone. I remember seeing him run at firebird
some yrs back, maybe early 90s? Seeing his name too on IHBA.Its a risky thing those mega powerd boats as past others have found. 1st time i every saw them run at Firebird, PHX. I was astounded at the rooster tail i saw from the freeway coming in that day.2 days of being there made me come back for more. That was the yr. i saw Ralph Padilla in the Quarter Flash 1st round bouced and flipper off the line...

Dear Haas Family,
We are SO sorry for your loss..John was an amazing man, and will be missed by many. He helped my husband Bill many years ago when he bought his drag boat. John always had time for questions, and Bill really looked up to him as a "mentor" in this sport. Words cannot express our sorrows, we will keep you all in our prayers.

Deanna and Family,
Bill and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. Please remember that you are held in God's hands and lifted up in prayer in this time of sadness.

To the Haas family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your loved one. We will keep John in our prayers.

Jesse wanted to be at the in ramp when John launched the boat and he wanted to meet John at the out ramp when the race was over. What amazed me is the amount of time that John would spend with Jesse every time Jesse would end up in the pit stall. John and Jesse would talk about the previous run and Jesse would...
