Not sure what to say?

When people see jersey #21 they think of Ladanian Tomlinson but I always say John Hadl my favorite San Diego Charger Quarterback who I grew up watching as a fan in San Diego during the 60’s.

First quarterback I ever watched was back in 1964 in San Diego. I was eight years old. We all know what a Great Quarterback he was. He was an inspiration to me in my football career. My condolences to his family, teammates, and all whom he touched in his lifetime.

He was my idol when I was a kid. In my prayers Heinz

May the God of comfort sustain you at this time of such great loss.

What a great man. He was a kind friend and true Jayhawk advocate. Memories and laughs of my life around John will continue to bring me joy throughout my life. Rest my friend. Morrie Sheets-Wichita Kansas

How well we remember John.... especially since we share the same last name... and we are not related! Our Hadl name originated in Austria. John was a great football player, and may he now forever rest in peace....
