Dear Family,

I am Judy Fox's sister Sandy, and I want to share with all of you the grief of my family at Jack's passing. He and Judy shared a deep and abiding love for each other, and we will always remember him for the many kindnesses he did for her in her final days. He was a wonderful man, and he will be sorely missed. Our hearts and our prayers go out to you. Remember him smiling.

Dear Haggertry Family,

Even though it has been many years since I last had the pleasure of seeing you, I still remember fondly the many family times we shared, whether it be at Nana's home, on the "African Queen", at Breezy Point, or the "Friendly Cousins" get togethers.

I always held Jack in such high regard and my working on his political campaign gave me my first real taste of politics.

May warm memories of good times past bring you all comfort.

There are many testimonies that can be given to a man of tremendous influence on so many. I recognized his integrity, humility and exemplary manner during the years I worked for him. He possessed a devotion to his country, to his family, a high moral code and to his like-minded allies in the Republican Party. I remember most his love of his family when I worked for him from 1977 to 1981. He helped me and many others in many ways that still impact me today and...

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the transition of your father, brother and loved one, Mr. John F. Haggerty. After reading the obituary, I am struck by the many things he accomlished and what a fine man he was on earth. Now he is home again with God. Job (Life), Well Done.

My deepest sympathy to the Haggerty family. I was a friend of Jack at Fordham. We graduated in the same year and I have seen Jack only a few times since graduation. Yet I count him as a friend.
My last contact with Jack was at a wedding in Rhode Island a few years back and we had a great tme remembering the good old days
