I had the honor of meeting and sitting beside John on his flight into Shreveport from basic. This young man left an impression on my heart and I have thought of him every year since. I live in Lonview In east Texas and somehow heard on the evening news when he was taken to heaven. On this day to remember he is in my thought and his family still in my prayers.
