Not sure what to say?

Mr. Halloran was one of the most effective instructors I learned under while a student at Mona Shores High School. I can say that his work impacted me more in my late 30'd than my teenage years. Thank you, Mr. Halloran. - Dan Sutherland, Class of 1975

He was a thoughtful and wonderful teacher. My condolences to his family.

He was a good man and I remember his English lit class well!

Paula Garzelloni VandenBosch My dad, Frank Garzelloni was a friend from way back in the Muskegon Heights teaching days. Back in the 70's when I was a student at GVSU and needed a place to do a student teaching class dad suggested Mona Shores. Mr. Halloran set it up for me and made me feel right at home with his department's teachers. I had a wonderful experience thanks to him! My heartfelt condolences to the Halloran family.

Mr Halloran was probably the best teacher I ever had at any level. He opened my mind to literature in a way I had not imagined. May he find peace in the undying lands with Gandalf, Frodo and the rest

I will never forget the day he brought in the Led Zepplin album and played Ramble On - in reference to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I was hooked from that moment on. He was a great contemporary Lit teacher and will never be forgotten. Cathy Koekkoek Nichols '78

I had Mr Halloran for English in my junior year of HS. He was a fantastic teacher- always smiling and always respectful as he opened our minds to the wonders of literature. Thanks you, Mr. Halloran, for giving so much to so many. -

I´m so sorry for your family´s loss. Mr. Halloran was my favorite teacher in high school. He was so caring and he made English interesting. To this day I tell people how much I enjoyed his class and what a wonderful teacher he was. He had a heart for his students. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Mr. Halloran was the epitome of a true kind heart. He always had that ability to extend a smile when, as a teenager, you were in need of a connection. My regards to his family.
