Not sure what to say?

Sincere condolences to the entire Hambleton family. John and I spent a lot of time together at the Ruckel airstrip in Niceville, Florida. I respected him as a fellow aviator and mechanic. He was a good friend.

My deepest symathies to you Sarah. My respect for John as a person and as a pilot was immeasurable. As a fellow professional pilot, this is the highest accolade possible.

John Hambleton, Major USAF 1965

I first met John Hambleton who was chief of academics at the USAF Test Pilot School in the mid 60s. He was an inspiration to us students as a superb flight test instrucor. Years later we were together as fellow Quiet Birdman in Fort Walton Beach. We will miss this airman of all airmen. Go West, John.

Libby, you are in my prayers. I remember your dad from the Destin Airport. Hope to run into you some day when I get back home to visit.

To the Hambleton Family.
Our prayers are with you at this difficult time. Mr. Hambleton was an honest, fun-loving, honorable man and he will be missed. I pray you will find comfort in knowing he is in our loving God's hands right now, soaring high in the heavenlies!

I always liked working with John. He was a good friend and a good pilot. Our sympathy to the family.

I have always wished we lived closer together but at times like this I wish that even more -how I'd love to give you a hug. I'm just keeping you and all the family in my prayers for you to get through this sad time and know that time will heal.
Sympathy and love - "Jane"
