Not sure what to say?

I'm very sorry for your loss. I lived on Lyman Street in Holyoke back in the 60s, just down the street from John, and although I did not know John personally, I recently read John's book, and could not put it down until I finished it. I absolutely loved all the memorable stories about John's life as a child in Holyoke. He was so very blessed to have lived such a wonderful life filled with so many great memories, and to have had such a great love for his family and also the city of Holyoke. He...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I work at the bindery where John got his book printed and bound. He was amazing to work with. We all enjoyed his famous carrot cake that he made special for us. So glad he got to see his book published and that we had a part in it.

John, I know your dancing in Heaven. Sue and Matthew, my Heart hurts for you. May Our Lord give you both His Peace and His Strength going forward.

Deep condolences to John's wife Sue and family. So sorry to hear of his passing. John's posts were positive, entertaining, like a call or message from a friend, always glad to receive because they never failed to make one feel better.

Really enjoyed reading his articles, about growing up in Holyoke. He brought back many of my memories of the fifties ,sixties and seventies. My Condolences. I know I will truly miss him!

My deepest condolences to John's family and friends. I am so very honored to have helped John get his book published. He was so excited to tell his story, and was so kind and generous to our team throughout the process. Wishing you all comfort during this difficult time.

I want to offer my condolences to Susan and all of John's family. I grew up in Holyoke and often read with interest John's musings about growing up there since I grew up and around the same time. Until just today, I didn't realize that John was also family being my third cousin. May he rest in peace and may his memory be kept alive through his musings.

So sorry for your loss to Tommy and his family...
