I met John as Princeton undergraduate in 2003 when I was considering law school. He was wonderfully kind to me, and when I lost my job in early 2009 he was so helpful trying to help me find work. What a good, decent man and extraordinary attorney--I wanted to grow up to be just like him and I hope I have.

I knew him as Mr. Hamilton, my college roommate's dad. He was an unpretentious, welcoming, kind-hearted superstar. I am glad I got to know him. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the Hamiltons.
