Reading of John's passing took me back many years (in the early 40s) to Stadium High School in Tacoma and our outstanding band led by Ray Fussell. Your John played a mean trombone and could make you think you were listening to Tommy Dorsey.
You have my sympathy at your loss; however, his contributions to the world of nature and to the arts will live on forever.
