My condolences for your loss. I will miss Dr. Hampton he was a great professor and he inspired me to get not one but double masters degree. It is because of him that I am currently working on my EdD. Thank You Dr. Hampton. You will always be a bright light for all your students SPU. RIP

With heartfelt pleasure we became acquainted with Jack through his wife Doreen and small gatherings of friends. The anecdotes are many. Jack was a delightful man, generous with his time, his advise, his complements, his laughter and broad smile. With only a little encouragement, he was not adverse to wearing a silly hat and playing his part comedically. On the several occasions that we made surprise home visits during his writing time, he did not turn out the lights, but instead...

I am one of the fortunate people to have known Dr. Hampton, as a student as well as a colleague. Caring and devoted, full of life and knowledge. He was one of a kind. His absence will be palpable. My heart breaks for his family and loved ones.

Jack Hampton has enriched all of our lives. He was adored by our three children who loved to talk to him. Jack had a special impact on young people and enjoyed to teach tremendously. He was an excellent listener and was deeply interested in what others (not matter what age) had to say. Jack would translate those insights into blogs and written arguments.
