I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Haney. I met Mr. Haney at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City three (3) years ago, while I was visiting the crypt of my dear sister who passed away in 2019. Just ahead of my car by on the right side of road was Mr. Haney sitting on his lawn chair under the protection of a towering oak tree. I met John when attending Mass at Our Lady of Knock since the parish merged and enjoyed visiting with him before Mass started. John had many interesting stories and I´m so sorry to hear this sad news. He and his family are in my prayers.
