John was a friend and a colleague. My condolences to his family. He left us much too soon.

John was a friendly soul to his colleagues in English. I extend my sympathies and prayers to his family.

John was a kind-hearted colleague. Peace and comfort to you in your loss.

John always had a smile and friendly greeting even when he was not feeling his best. I am sorry to hear of this loss.

Professor Harps was a soft-spoken, kind-hearted man who would take his time to explain or assist any student who asked it of him. He will be missed.
