Read MoreSo sorry to hear of John's passing. Many times while walking my dog I'd stop and chat with John while he was sitting at the edge of the garage. I was a student of John's at Joliet West and was pleasantly surprised to see he was a neighbor in my subdivision. Always in a good mood and fun to talk to...I will miss those chats. I was a 7th grade student of Mr. Harr at Washington Jr High School in 1962. He was most often seen in the halls with Mr. Herring, as I recall. He was an excellent and very popular teacher. My condolences to his family.
