One additional note. In the Milton High School Band, John played flute and piccolo. At the spring concert of his junior (and graduating) year (1 year early), he played a still-memorable professional quality solo in John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever. Brought the audience to its feet. And gave me a lasting memory.

John was my first Boss at SRL. John, Larry Holden worked together on many WPAFB Projects. After John started VII and Dick Holmes and I started EIS, we still worked together often. John's company VII was one of our key suppliers of metal fabrication and painting services. John will be missed.
