John Hart Jr.

John and I served together in 1963-4, at Yokota Air Base, Japan. I was newly assigned there, and he took me under his wing to teach me about living in Japan. I'll always remember him and his friendship and training which helped me to become the 1964 lightweight boxing champion of the Pacific Air forces. He was an amazing singer, dancer, musician, boxer, basketball player, and always the sharpest man in uniform within his unit. And he loved to laugh. His friend; Stan @ [email protected]

JOHN HART LIVED IN NEW ORLEANS IN THE SAME BLOCK WHERE MY SISTER LIVE 1978 , JOHN HAD LET ME SEE HIS SONS BAND PLAY AT HIS HOUSE ONE DAY THEY VERY TALENTED YOUNG MEN

God bless you Jack, and your family, and peace be with you and yours. We didn't get to work together for too long, but what we did was real music for real people.

I grew up listening and dancing to the Trampps. I moved to California in 1977 (taking a bus across country) and the one item I took with me was the Trampps Disco Inferno album. And when I moved back to Philly two years later, I packed it up again.

I am so saddened by the untimely passing of such a dear and wonderful friend.

I spent several of the best years of mu musical existance as guitarist with the Trammps during the "Zing " era, in fact I am on the very first 8 by 10 glossy!!

Man, the times we had over at Sid Bookers Hi Line and that infamous James brown Tour.

Man, Jack sang like a bird, and I especially loved his version of Bloodstone's "Natural High".

Wel now Jack is realy on a "natural high" up where...

John, Rest In Peace, I enjoyed watching and listening to you and the Trammps as a young man growing up in Philadephia. You are at peace now. You will be greatly missed but never ever forgotten

A few years back before Jack ran into some health problems, he had rejoined the Trammps and I had the priviledge (and honor) to be in the band with him. He was always laughing and joking around. We use to have a great time. Unfortunately, with the way his health was going he had to leave the group. But every once in a while he would show up to a gig and it was always great to see him. It is sad to see such a wonderful man leave us but I'm sure he is in a better place. I know he can hear me...
