We were so sorry to learn of John's death. John and Leona were neighbors of mine when I was growing up in KC. Then both Steve and I worked with John at Twentieth Century. We always loved his quick wit and friendly smile. Our thoughts are with the family.

Although we didn't know John well, we own a condo unit in the same community where John and Leona live. The evening before John's tragic death, we joined a small group of neighbors to chat, enjoy a glass of wine, snacks, and watch the sun set. John was one of those in the group.
