Not sure what to say?

Hi everyone!

So sad that I missed the special mass for John, due to my own Mom's health issues that started the night that John passed away after her long journey with ALZ! I still believe that John was the angel that set her free the night that he passed away.

I know he will be sadly missed, but oh so fondly remembered! He was always a spark of joy to be around, remembering those near and far with that kind heart!!! God is lucky to get him back in His arms, while we will...

Thank you all for your sweet memories of John. I will be sure to share with the rest of the family. God bless you and yours.

Johnny brought such joy to our family on his many visits to see my daughter Tiffany. She met him at New Trier and often brought him home. She loved him and we all grew to love him too. Johnny brought good cheer to everyone he met. We were so happy for him when he moved into his own place at Misericordia. We will always remember and be inspired by his lovely smiling face.

To Johnny's loving family. I don't know if you'll get this here, but if so, I just wanted you to know how terribly sad and sorry I am to hear about this great loss. In 1985 I had the good fortune of being Johnny's friend and the great pleasure of working with him when we were (with Mr. Goldstein) at New Trier. I loved spending time with him (as did my family). We spent many afternoons together and we were always laughing. I can't remember a time I didn't see that beautiful smile on his...

Dear Virginia and Family,
Although we didn't have the pleasure to meet John, we know how dear he was to you all and how much he was loved. We pray that you find peace through this difficult time and know he will always be with you now in spirit. God bless John!

I have not met you, John, nor the rest of your family- save Andy. But I know your heart. And your family is like my family. The relationships, love and the loss of you here on earth, I know. In your great company are some of my favorite and most loved people, for sure you would have been one of mine too, had we met. My beautiful mother, courageous bigger than life father, my beauty queen sister, Suzette, and my hero brother Ricky, who spent his life from age 18 as a quadriplegic. My genius...

Virginia, Alex and the rest,

My heart goes out to all of you. You were John's most loyal and loving supporters. I will always remember sharing the NU graduation with him.

Sending hugs to you,

Monica Schlessinger
